My first job in San Francisco was in 1995 as an office manager, where I found my true passion, organizing numbers. I received on the job training as a full charge bookkeeper at Greens Restaurant starting in 1997. Working closely with their accountant, I learned the intricacies of accrual based accounting, COGS, sales tax, payroll, HR, month-end and year-end adjusting journal entries. Since then, I have taken those skills to many small and medium sized businesses creating, implementing and managing systems for new businesses and streamlining systems for clients that are already in business.

On a personal level, I have served as the president and the treasurer of the parent teacher organization for my children’s public elementary school. Working collaboratively with parents, teachers and the principal to achieve a common goal is extremely rewarding, and I try to bring these skills to my work environment as well.
